Miles Overview
This is Mercedes-Benz's full-size van, the workhorse that also serves as a passenger hauler and camper base. It drives with a solid, planted feel that's unusual for a van, though the steering is light and a bit remote. Cargo space is cavernous, and the tall roof options let most adults stand up inside. The infotainment is straightforward, and the available 360-degree camera makes parking a long van much easier. The 2500 Cargo 144 WB is the mid-duty work van, splitting the difference between the lighter 1500 and the heavier 3500. Its 2.0L paired with the automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive gives it a capable, workmanlike feel on the road. The 144-inch wheelbase makes it easier to park and maneuver in tight urban spots than the longer 170-inch version.
