Miles Overview
The GLB is Mercedes' compact SUV, the one that gives you three rows in a footprint that's easy to park in the city. It drives with the composed, planted feel you expect from a Mercedes, and the steering is light but accurate. The ride is on the firm side, which keeps body roll in check, but you'll feel sharp bumps more than in some rivals. Inside, the cabin is nicely put together with quality materials, and the optional third row is tight but handy for occasional use. Stepping up to the GLB 35 AMG from the GLB 250 adds the AMG-tuned suspension, the dual-clutch transmission, and the variable all-wheel-drive system with a rear-axle torque-vectoring mode. Its 2.0L I4 makes 302 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, routed through an eight-speed automatic that snaps off quick shifts in Sport and Sport+. The AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension lets you dial between Comfort and firm Sport+ damping, so you can soften the ride for daily driving or tighten it for back roads.
