Miles Overview
The 2024 E-Class is Mercedes' mid-size luxury sedan, the one that competes with the BMW 5 Series and Audi A6. It's a smooth, quiet cruiser that eats up highway miles, and the steering is precise enough to make back roads enjoyable. Inside, the cabin is a blend of modern tech and old-school luxury, with plenty of room for four adults and a trunk that swallows luggage. The big touchscreen runs the latest MBUX system, which responds quickly and supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The E 450 is the step up from the E 350, trading the base four-cylinder for a much stronger six-cylinder engine and standard all-wheel drive. Its 3.0L I6 makes 375 horsepower and pairs with a nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, so it pulls hard from any speed and feels effortless on the highway. The mild-hybrid system smooths out stop-start and gives a little electric boost off the line, and the standard AMG styling gives it a sportier look than the E 350.
