Miles Overview
It wafts along in near silence, and the air suspension soaks up bumps like a proper luxury car. Inside, the cabin is vast and airy, with a sweeping dashboard that can be covered by one massive curved screen. The liftback trunk opens wide, making the EQS surprisingly practical for hauling luggage or golf clubs. Stepping up to the EQS 580 brings a second motor for all-wheel drive, more power, and the AMG Line exterior as standard, while the 450+ is rear-drive and less potent. Its dual electric motors make 516 horsepower and 631 lb-ft of torque, and the all-wheel drive gives it sure-footed traction in all weather; Mercedes quotes 340 miles of range. Standard rear-axle steering with 10 degrees of articulation makes this 5,888 pounds sedan feel far nimbler in parking lots than you'd expect.
