Miles Overview
The AMG GT is Mercedes' dedicated performance flagship, a two-door coupe and four-door gran coupe that carries the brand's most aggressive engineering. If you're cross-shopping a Porsche 911 or an Aston Martin Vantage, the AMG GT brings its own take on a luxury grand tourer. It drives with the sharpness you'd expect from a track-bred machine, yet settles into a comfortable cruise when you're just covering ground. Inside, the cabin wraps you in premium materials and tech, with space that's tight in the coupe but more usable in the gran coupe. Stepping up to the AMG GT 53 from the GT 43 adds a forty-three-horsepower bump and a stronger torque curve, plus the standard AMG Ride Control suspension that the 43 skips. Its 3.0L I6 makes 429 horsepower and drives all four wheels through a nine-speed automatic, so it launches hard and hooks up in the wet without drama.
