Miles Overview
The 2023 S-Class is Mercedes-Benz's flagship full-size sedan, offered in standard and ultra-luxurious Maybach forms. It competes with the BMW 7 Series, Audi A8, and Lexus LS, while the Maybach version targets the Rolls-Royce Ghost and Bentley Flying Spur. The S-Class wafts along with serene composure, yet its rear-axle steering and air suspension keep it agile for its size. Inside, the cabin is a tech showcase with a massive OLED touchscreen, massaging seats, and near-silent isolation. Its 6.0L V12 produces 621 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque, routed through a nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive for effortless, silent thrust that belies the car's 5,346 pounds. The Maybach treatment adds power-closing rear doors and a fragrance system, but the real draw is the rear cabin with reclining seats and calf rests.
