Miles Overview
The S-Class is Mercedes-Benz's flagship sedan, the one that sets the benchmark for full-size luxury. It wafts down the road with a serene, quiet confidence that makes long drives feel effortless. Inside, you get a palatial cabin with first-class rear seats and enough tech to run a small office. Expect running costs to be substantial, from premium fuel to pricey maintenance visits. The S 63 E Performance trades the Maybach's chauffer-focused rear cabin for AMG's track-bred hybrid powertrain, saving you over fifty grand in the process. Its plug-in hybrid 4.0L V8 plug-in hybrid cranks out 791 horsepower and 1055 lb-ft of torque, with the electric motor on the rear axle giving you instant launch response and a silent 16-mile EV range. Active rear-axle steering is standard here, making this nearly three-ton sedan feel surprisingly nimble in tight corners.
