Miles Overview
The CLA-Class is Mercedes-Benz's entry-level sedan, a compact four-door coupe that brings the brand's style and tech to a smaller, more affordable package. It competes with the Audi A3, BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, and the Acura Integra, all of which offer similar premium compact sedan appeal. The CLA feels nimble and eager in corners, with the AMG versions delivering serious acceleration and a sharp, responsive chassis. The cabin is stylish and well-built, with a sleek dashboard and standard dual screens, though rear headroom is tight for taller passengers. A hand-built engine and the most aggressive AMG calibration set the CLA 45 S AMG apart from the CLA 35 AMG below it. That 2.0L I4 makes 416 horsepower and pairs with an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, giving the sedan launch feel that rivals much larger performance cars. The AMG Track Pace system and drift mode are unique to the S, turning a tight sedan into a track-day tool when you want it.
