Miles Overview
The CLA is Mercedes' entry-level sedan, a compact four-door that trades some practicality for a sleeker roofline than the A-Class. It feels light on its feet and eager through corners, with a ride that's on the firm side but stays composed on the highway. Inside, the cabin is stylish and tech-forward, though rear headroom is tight for taller passengers and the trunk is modest. Reliability is about average for the class, with some owners noting electronic glitches that are usually covered under warranty. Its 2.0L I4 makes 302 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, routed through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and all-wheel drive that claws into corners with real conviction. The standard adaptive suspension lets you soften the ride for commuting or stiffen it for back roads, a useful split you won't find on the CLA 250.
