Miles Overview
The CLA-Class is Mercedes-Benz's entry-level sedan, a compact four-door coupe that brings the brand's style and tech to a smaller, more affordable package. It competes with the Audi A3, BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, and the Acura Integra, all of which offer similar premium compact sedan appeal. The CLA feels nimble and eager in corners, with the AMG versions delivering serious acceleration and a sharp, responsive chassis. The cabin is stylish and well-built, with a sleek dashboard and standard dual screens, though rear headroom is tight for taller passengers. Stepping up to the CLA 35 AMG from the CLA 250 brings the AMG-tuned 2.0L, a sport exhaust, and the AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive that the base car lacks. The 2.0L I4 makes 302 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, routed through an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, and returns 25 mpg combined. The AMG Sport Suspension and AMG Dynamic Select drive modes let you sharpen the chassis response, while the sport exhaust gives the four-cylinder a harder edge.
