Miles Overview
The CLA is Mercedes' entry-level sedan, offered as a sleek four-door coupe and a practical five-door shooting brake. It's a sharp little handler, with quick steering and a firm, controlled ride that makes it feel eager on back roads. Inside, you get a modern cabin with twin screens and a sporty vibe, though rear legroom is tight for taller passengers. Standard tech includes a 7-inch touchscreen with smartphone integration, and the available MBUX voice assistant works well. Stepping up to the CLA 35 AMG from the CLA 250 adds a more powerful engine, AMG-tuned suspension, and unique styling cues that sharpen the car's character. Its 2.0L I4 makes 302 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, paired with a seven-speed automatic and all-wheel drive that gives you confident traction in any weather. The AMG suspension is firm but controlled, so you'll feel the road more than in the CLA 250, which is the trade for sharper handling.
