Miles Overview
The 2026 CLA-Class is Mercedes-Benz's entry point, a compact four-door coupe and sedan that brings the brand's style and tech to a smaller footprint. It squares off against the Audi A3, BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, and the Tesla Model 3, especially in its electric forms. The CLA feels eager and light on its feet, with quick steering and a firm, controlled ride that suits its sporty character. Inside, the cabin is snug but well-finished, with the latest MBUX displays and ambient lighting that give it a modern, upscale feel. The CLA 35 AMG is the pick if you want the sporty AMG feel without jumping to the 45's higher price and power. Its 2.0L I4 makes 302 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, routed through a eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive that put power down eagerly. The AMG Sport Suspension firms things up nicely for cornering, but you'll feel sharper impacts on rough pavement.
