Miles Overview
The CLS-Class is Mercedes' sleek four-door coupe, blending a coupe-like roofline with the practicality of a sedan. It's a car that feels more athletic than the E-Class it's based on, with a poised, confident drive that rewards a steady hand. Inside, the cabin is a mix of modern tech and upscale materials, though the sloping roof does cut into rear headroom a bit. Expect premium fuel and typical Mercedes maintenance costs, which run a bit higher than average for the class. The CLS 450 is the entry point to the CLS lineup, sitting below the fire-breathing CLS 53 AMG and giving you a choice between rear- or all-wheel drive. Its 3.0L I6 makes 362 horsepower and pairs with a nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, delivering a smooth, effortless surge that feels quicker than the numbers suggest. Opt for the AMG Line package and you get sharper steering and a firmer suspension, tightening the car up without losing its daily-driver composure.
