Miles Overview
The 2014 TTS is Audi's compact sports coupe, a step up from the base TT with more power and sharper handling. It grips hard and feels planted through corners, though the steering lacks the feedback some rivals offer. The cabin is upscale and well-built, but the back seats are tight and better for occasional use. Some owners have reported cracked seat leather, so check the seats carefully during a test drive. The TTS sits above the base TT, adding a more powerful 2.0L I4 with 265 horsepower and sharper suspension tuning. Power goes to all four wheels through a six-speed automatic, and the TTS feels quick off the line with 258 lb-ft of torque on tap. The TTS gets a sportier exhaust note and firmer dampers than the standard TT, so expect a taut ride on rough pavement.
