Miles Overview
The 2019 Civic is Honda's compact car, offered as a sedan, coupe, or hatchback to suit different tastes. It squares off against the Toyota Corolla, Mazda3, and Volkswagen Golf, with a sportier feel than most. The Civic handles with a crispness that makes daily drives enjoyable, and the available manual gearbox adds engagement. Inside, the cabin feels well-built for the class, with a modern dashboard and generous rear legroom for a compact. The Type R Touring is the Civic that trades the standard models' practicality focus for a track-ready chassis and the most aggressive styling in the lineup. Its 2.0L I4 makes 306 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, routed through a six-speed manual to the front wheels, delivering the kind of grip that lets you carry serious speed through corners. The adaptive dampers let you soften the ride for daily driving or firm it up for the track, so it's livable when you just want to cruise.
