Miles Overview
The 2019 Civic is Honda's compact car, offered as a sedan, coupe, or hatchback to suit different tastes. It squares off against the Toyota Corolla, Mazda3, and Volkswagen Golf, with a sportier feel than most. The Civic handles with a crispness that makes daily drives enjoyable, and the available manual gearbox adds engagement. Inside, the cabin feels well-built for the class, with a modern dashboard and generous rear legroom for a compact. The LX hatchback steps up from the base sedan with a more versatile cargo area, while keeping the same standard equipment list. It uses the 1.5L I4 making 174 horsepower, paired with the automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, and returns 34 mpg combined.
