Miles Overview
The DB9 is Aston Martin's grand tourer, a two-door convertible that's more about covering miles in style than chasing lap times. It's a car that feels alive on a sweeping back road, with a chassis that communicates clearly and a soundtrack that's worth the price of admission. Inside, you get hand-stitched leather and real metal, though the infotainment and switchgear feel dated by modern standards. A convertible body style and the 5.9L V12 set the DB9 Volant apart from the DB9 coupe, giving you open-air driving with the same grand-touring character. The 5.9L V12 makes 540 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive, so it pulls hard from any speed and sounds fantastic doing it, though 15 mpg combined is part of the deal.
