Miles Overview
The DBS is Aston Martin's range-topping grand tourer for 2009, a step above the DB9 in performance and presence. Inside, you get a hand-stitched leather cabin with real metal trim, and the rear seats are best left for luggage. Expect to budget for premium parts and specialist service, but the exclusivity and that engine note make it worth it. Stepping up from the DB9 gives you the DBS's sharper chassis tuning and a more aggressive look, with carbon-fiber body panels saving weight. The DBS coupe rides on adaptive dampers that firm up noticeably in Sport mode, which is the trade-off for its sharper handling versus the DB9.
