2025 INEOS Grenadier Fieldmaster

The Grenadier is INEOS's no-frills off-roader, built to take on the Land Rover Defender and Jeep Wrangler. It drives with a truck-like directness, and the steering is heavy at low speed but settles once you're moving. Inside, you get a utilitarian cabin with physical buttons and a central infotainment screen mounted high in the dash. There's plenty of cargo space behind the rear seats, and the boxy shape makes loading bulky gear straightforward. The Fieldmaster is the more comfort-focused trim, swapping the Trialmaster's off-road extras for leather seats, carpeted floors, and additional noise insulation. It uses the same 3.0L I6 as the rest of the range, making 281 horsepower, and all-wheel drive sends power through a two-speed transfer case with lockable center differential. Expect fuel economy around 15 mpg combined, and the heavy-duty coil suspension and solid axles mean the ride is firm on pavement but composed off it.
