Miles Overview
The 720S is McLaren's mid-engine supercar, aimed squarely at the Ferrari F8 Tributo and Lamborghini Huracán. It's brutally quick, yet the steering is so precise you feel every bit of grip through the wheel. The ride is firm, but the adaptive dampers keep it livable on real roads, which is remarkable for a car this fast. Inside, the cabin is snug but beautifully crafted, with a clear view out and easy-to-reach controls. The Spider swaps the coupe's fixed roof for a power-folding hardtop, so you get open-air driving without the weight penalty of a soft top. With 710 horsepower going to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic, it hits 60 mph in the low twos and pulls hard all the way to redline. The retractable roof operates at speeds up to 30 mph, so you can drop it on the move without pulling over.
