Miles Overview
The 570S Spider is McLaren's entry-level convertible, a mid-engined supercar that trades some ultimate pace for everyday usability. It's genuinely quick and communicative, with steering that tells you exactly what the front tires are doing. The ride is firm but controlled, and the carbon tub keeps the chassis feeling tight even with the roof removed. The cabin is snug but well laid out, with the dihedral doors making entry a bit of a climb. The 570S Spider is the open-top version of the 570S coupe, and it's the most affordable convertible in McLaren's lineup. Its 3.8L V8 makes 562 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque, paired with a seven-speed automatic that snaps off shifts with authority.
