Miles Overview
The Range Rover Sport is Land Rover's mid-size luxury SUV, the one that trades a bit of the big Range Rover's opulence for a more athletic feel. On the road it feels more like a tall sports car than a truck, with quick steering and a firm, controlled ride that keeps body roll in check. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in soft leather and real wood, and the rear seats fold flat to open up a generous cargo bay for gear. The infotainment system uses a crisp 8-inch touchscreen with navigation, and the available dual-screen setup adds a second display for climate and vehicle settings. Its 5.0L V8 makes 550 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque, routed through an eight-speed automatic to all four wheels, and it hits 60 mph in about 4.5 seconds. The SVR gets unique 21-inch wheels, a deeper exhaust note, and a firmer adaptive suspension that corners flat but rides stiffly on broken pavement.
