Miles Overview
The Evoque is Land Rover's compact luxury SUV, the smallest and most fashion-forward model in the lineup for 2012. On the road, the Evoque feels nimble and eager, with sharp steering that makes it more fun to drive than its size suggests. The ride is on the firm side, which is the trade for how well it corners, but it stays composed on rough pavement. Inside, the cabin is a stylish place to spend time, with high-quality materials and a modern design that still looks fresh. The Pure Plus is the step up from the base Pure, adding a power tailgate, heated front seats, and a rear-view camera. Its 2.0L I4 makes 240 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque, routed through a six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, good for 22 mpg combined. The Pure Plus can be fitted with a panoramic roof that floods the cabin with light, though it cuts into headroom.
