Miles Overview
The Evoque is Land Rover's compact luxury SUV, the one that brought a coupe-like roofline to the brand. On the road it feels planted and eager, with a tidy footprint that makes it easy to place in traffic. The ride is on the firm side, a trade-off for the sharp handling, but it settles down on the highway. The cabin feels upscale with quality materials, though rear legroom is snug and cargo space is modest. Stepping up to the HSE Dynamic adds a sportier look with unique bumpers and gloss-black trim, plus upgraded leather seats and a Meridian sound system. The 2.0L I4 makes 240 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque, routed through a nine-speed automatic to all-wheel drive; it's responsive around town and gets 24 mpg combined. Only the HSE Dynamic offers the configurable ambient lighting and a choice of 20-inch wheels that sharpen the look without ruining the ride.
