Miles Overview
The 2025 Discovery slots between the Defender and Range Rover Sport, offering three-row family practicality with Land Rover's signature go-anywhere attitude. Its main rivals include the Volvo XC90, BMW X5, and Mercedes-Benz GLE, but none match its off-road pedigree. On pavement, the Discovery feels composed and quiet, with a commanding view of the road and a ride that absorbs most bumps without fuss. Inside, the cabin is genuinely versatile, with three rows of seating, a spacious cargo area, and clever storage throughout. The Metropolitan Edition is the top Discovery trim, adding unique exterior and interior details over the Dynamic SE without any extra powertrain upgrades. Its 3.0L I6 hybrid makes 355 horsepower and pairs with an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, delivering smooth, effortless power on road and trail alike while returning 19 mpg combined.
