Miles Overview
The Discovery is Land Rover's family-oriented SUV, the one you cross-shop with the Volvo XC90 and Audi Q7 when you need three rows and real off-road chops. On the road it feels composed and confident, with a smooth ride that soaks up bumps while keeping body roll in check. Inside, you get a genuinely usable third row, and the seats fold flat into the floor for a wide, flat load area. The touchscreen infotainment is responsive, and the standard terrain response system makes off-road driving surprisingly approachable. The SE is the entry-level Discovery, skipping the HSE's leather and upgraded audio but keeping the same capable chassis and off-road hardware. The SE comes with five seats as standard, but you can add the third row as an option if you need the full seven-passenger layout.
