Miles Overview
The Defender is Land Rover's go-anywhere SUV, built to handle serious off-road trails while still being livable every day. Inside, the cabin is practical and tough, with exposed rivets and rubber flooring in some trims that make cleanup easy after a muddy trip. Reliability has been mixed, with some owners reporting electrical gremlins, though the Defender's off-road capability is widely praised. You give up the air suspension and larger wheels of the higher trims, but the coil springs on this Defender are simpler and more durable for serious off-road use. The automatic transmission and four-wheel drive are standard, giving you confident traction on loose surfaces and a smooth shift on the highway.
