Miles Overview
The Defender is Land Rover's rugged, boxy SUV, the one that trades some on-road polish for genuine off-road talent. It drives with a commanding view of the road and a relaxed gait, though the steering feels a bit vague at speed. Inside, the cabin is tough and practical, with exposed bolts and hard-wearing surfaces that still feel premium. The 110 body gives you a big, square cargo bay and seating for up to seven if you choose the third row. The X-Dynamic S is the trim that adds a sportier look and the stronger mild-hybrid engine over the base 110 S, without jumping to the pricier SE. Its 3.0L I6 hybrid makes 395 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque, paired with a eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, so it pulls hard from low revs and feels quicker than the base four-cylinder. You get unique gloss-black exterior accents and satin-finish grille details that the standard 110 S doesn't offer.
