Miles Overview
The Defender is Land Rover's rugged, boxy SUV, the one that trades some on-road polish for genuine off-road talent. It drives with a commanding view of the road and a relaxed gait, though the steering feels a bit vague at speed. Inside, the cabin is tough and practical, with exposed bolts and hard-wearing surfaces that still feel premium. The 110 body gives you a big, square cargo bay and seating for up to seven if you choose the third row. A bigger engine and mild-hybrid assist set the X-Dynamic S apart from the base 110 S, while leaving out some luxury gear found on the SE above it. Its 3.0L I6 hybrid makes 395 horsepower and pairs with automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, giving you confident highway passing and a smooth, quiet pull around town. The X-Dynamic trim adds unique exterior styling touches and a sportier interior trim, but the ride stays composed rather than stiff.
