Miles Overview
This is Land Rover's rugged, boxy SUV, the one that's been a go-anywhere icon since 1948. On the road it feels tall and commanding, and off it, the Defender is genuinely hard to stop. Inside, you get a practical, washable cabin with plenty of room for five and a big cargo area. It comes with a 10-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a clear digital gauge cluster. Its 2.0L I4 makes 296 horsepower and pairs with an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, which is enough for daily driving but feels less urgent than the six-cylinder models. Fuel economy is 18 mpg combined, and the base trim still gets the same off-road hardware as the pricier versions.
