Miles Overview
The Defender is Land Rover's rugged, boxy SUV, the one that trades some on-road polish for genuine off-road talent. It drives with a commanding view of the road and a relaxed gait, though the steering feels a bit vague at speed. Inside, the cabin is tough and practical, with exposed bolts and hard-wearing surfaces that still feel premium. The 110 body gives you a big, square cargo bay and seating for up to seven if you choose the third row. The X-Dynamic SE sits above the X-Dynamic S, adding leather upholstery, a larger touchscreen, and matrix LED headlights. Its 3.0L I6 hybrid makes 395 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque, with the mild-hybrid system smoothing the stop-start cycle and adding a bit of low-end shove. You get Land Rover's configurable Terrain Response 2 system, which lets you dial in the perfect setup for mud, sand, or rocks.
