2020 Land Rover Discovery Sport R-Dynamic S

The Discovery Sport is Land Rover's compact family SUV, the model you cross-shop with the BMW X3 and Audi Q5. Inside, you get a modern cabin with a large touchscreen, and the optional third row makes it a rare seven-seat choice in this class. Running costs run higher than average, and you'll want to keep up with scheduled maintenance to avoid common electrical gremlins. The R-Dynamic S sits between the base SE and the R-Dynamic SE, adding sporty exterior styling and a different wheel design without bumping the powertrain. Its 2.0L I4 makes 237 horsepower and pairs with a nine-speed automatic driving all four wheels, which gives you confident traction in rain or light off-roading. With 21 mpg combined, this Discovery Sport isn't the most efficient pick in its class, but its real-world fuel cost is what you'd expect from a premium compact SUV.
