2022 Land Rover Discovery Sport R-Dynamic S

The Discovery Sport is Land Rover's compact family SUV, the one you cross-shop with the BMW X3 and Audi Q5 when you want something a bit more rugged. It drives with a composed, planted feel on pavement, and its all-wheel-drive system gives you real confidence when the road turns to dirt or snow. Inside, you get a well-built cabin with a clean design, and the available third row makes it one of the few compact SUVs that can seat seven in a pinch. Some owners have noted the infotainment can be slow to respond, and the ride is on the firm side, which is the trade-off for its capable handling. A sporty exterior look and standard leather seats set the R-Dynamic S apart from the base trim below it. Under the hood is the 2.0L I4 making 247 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive that keeps you planted on slippery roads. Fuel economy works out to 19 mpg city in the city and 23 mpg highway on the highway, about what you'd expect from a compact luxury SUV with real all-weather ability.
