Miles Overview
The Discovery Sport is Land Rover's compact family SUV, the one you cross-shop with the BMW X3 and Audi Q5 when you want something a bit more rugged. It drives with a composed, planted feel on pavement, and its all-wheel-drive system gives you real confidence when the road turns to dirt or snow. Inside, you get a well-built cabin with a clean design, and the available third row makes it one of the few compact SUVs that can seat seven in a pinch. Some owners have noted the infotainment can be slow to respond, and the ride is on the firm side, which is the trade-off for its capable handling. Stepping up to the R-Dynamic SE adds the sporty exterior styling and upgraded trim details of the R-Dynamic line, plus a bigger touchscreen and the 360-degree camera system that makes parking this SUV a breeze. The 2.0L I4 delivers 247 horsepower through the nine-speed automatic, and with all-wheel drive you get Land Rover's Terrain Response system that tailors the traction control for mud, sand, or snow.
