Miles Overview
The XJ is Jaguar's full-size luxury sedan, a direct rival to the Mercedes S-Class and BMW 7 Series, but with far more visual drama. It drives with a sporty edge that's rare in this class, with quick steering and a chassis that feels eager through corners. The ride is firm for a big luxury sedan, but the thick leather seats and quiet cabin keep it comfortable on long trips. The trunk is on the small side for the class, so it's not the best choice if you regularly haul bulky items. Its 3.0L V6 makes 340 horsepower and pairs with an eight-speed automatic, which is plenty quick for daily driving and returns 19 mpg combined.
