Miles Overview
The 2015 F-TYPE is Jaguar's two-seat sports car, sold as a coupe or convertible and aimed squarely at the Porsche 911 and Audi R8. It's a proper driver's car, with sharp steering and a chassis that feels alive the moment you turn in. The ride is firm but not punishing, and the cabin stays reasonably quiet with the top up. Inside, you get a low-slung cockpit with supportive seats and a simple, driver-focused layout. The R adds adaptive dampers, a switchable active exhaust, and 20-inch wheels over the V8 S, plus a sportier suspension tune. Its 5.0L V8 makes 550 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque, routed through a eight-speed automatic to the rear-wheel drive, and returns 18 mpg combined. The active exhaust lets you open the valves for a louder, sharper note at the touch of a button.
