Miles Overview
The XK is Jaguar's grand tourer, a two-door coupe or convertible that blends British luxury with genuine sporting ability. It's a car that loves the open road, with a smooth and effortless gait that makes long distances shrink. The steering is nicely weighted and the chassis feels balanced, so it's happy on a twisty back road too. Inside, you get a handsome cabin with real wood and leather, and the front seats are supportive for hours of driving. The XKR is the performance version, trading the base car's softer suspension for a firmer, sport-tuned setup that sharpens cornering response. A 4.2L V8 pairs with a six-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, giving the coupe a strong surge of power that makes highway merging effortless. The XKR's standard 19-inch wheels and upgraded brakes suit its quicker pace, but the ride is noticeably firmer than the standard XK's.
