Miles Overview
The XJL is Jaguar's long-wheelbase flagship sedan, the one you choose when you want limousine-like rear legroom without giving up the brand's sporting character. On the road it feels lighter than its size suggests, with quick steering and a chassis that stays composed through fast bends. The ride is supple at cruising speeds, though you'll notice the long wheelbase when parking in tight spots. Inside, the cabin wraps you in leather and wood, with massaging front seats and a rear seat that reclines for passengers. Its 5.0L V8 makes 385 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque, routed through a six-speed automatic to the rear wheels, and returns 18 mpg combined.
