Miles Overview
The XJ is Jaguar's full-size luxury sedan, a rival to the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class. It drives smaller than it is, with light steering and a supple ride that masks its size well. The cabin wraps you in leather and wood, with a dashboard layout that feels more traditional than the German competition. The R-Sport adds sportier exterior styling and upgraded interior trim over the standard XJ, with a more aggressive front bumper and unique wheels. Its 3.0L V6 makes 340 horsepower and pairs with a eight-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive, giving it a smooth, effortless feel on the highway. Expect 21 mpg combined in mixed driving, which is typical for a full-size luxury sedan with this much power.
