Miles Overview
The S-Type is Jaguar's mid-size luxury sedan, competing with the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class of its era. The ride is exceptionally smooth and quiet, with a Sport Mode that sharpens the throttle response for a more engaging feel. The cabin feels special with wood grain trim and leather, though the rear legroom is tight for a car this size. Owners report electrical issues and a tendency for the leather dash to crack in the sun, so a sun shield helps. With the automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, it's a relaxed cruiser that returns 18 mpg combined.
