Miles Overview
The XJS is Jaguar's grand tourer of the early nineties, a sleek two-door offered as a coupe or a convertible. It's a relaxed cruiser that eats up highway miles, with a ride that's more about comfort than sporty urgency. Inside, you get a leather-lined cabin with plenty of room up front, though rear seats are tight and better left for luggage. Reliability is typical of a British car of this era, so expect some electrical quirks and keep up with maintenance. The Rouge Special Edition is a limited-run convertible that adds unique badging and trim details over the standard XJS, making it a more collectible choice. Under the hood is a smooth 5.3L V12 paired with an automatic transmission, giving you effortless, turbine-like power for relaxed cruising. The convertible top drops quickly, and the open-air experience is the main reason to pick this version over the coupe.
