Miles Overview
The XK is Jaguar's grand tourer, a two-door coupe or convertible that blends luxury with genuine sporting ability. It's a relaxed cruiser on the highway, but the steering is communicative and the chassis feels balanced when you push it through corners. Inside, you get a classic Jaguar cabin with rich leather and wood trim, though rear seats are tight and the trunk is modest. Standard equipment includes dual front airbags, antilock brakes, and traction control, which was solid safety kit for 2000. If you want the purest XK experience, the coupe body is stiffer and lighter than the convertible, and it still looks timeless. The 4.0L V8 pairs with a smooth automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, giving you effortless torque for relaxed cruising or a quick pass.
