Miles Overview
The 2016 XF is Jaguar's mid-size luxury sedan, a more driver-focused alternative to the Audi A6 and BMW 5 Series. It's genuinely engaging to drive, with sharp steering and a chassis that feels eager through corners. The ride is on the firm side, but it stays composed on rough roads, so you get sporty handling without a punishing commute. Inside, the cabin is a lovely place to be, with supportive seats and a clean, driver-oriented layout. The Prestige is the base XF, but it's no stripper: it gets leather seats, a power sunroof, and the same 3.0L V6 as the R-Sport, so you're mainly giving up sportier styling and a few trim details. With 3.0L V6 making 340 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, the all-wheel-drive Prestige pulls hard and hooks up confidently in the wet, while the eight-speed automatic shifts smoothly; expect 23 mpg combined.
