Miles Overview
The Transit Connect is Ford's compact cargo van, the one you see doing delivery duty around town. It drives more like a car than a truck, with light steering and a tight turning radius that make it easy to park. The sliding rear doors and low load floor make it simple to toss in boxes or gear, and the tall roof adds useful space. Ford's Sync 3 infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is available, and the Titanium trim adds a few extra tech touches. The XL is the base Transit Connect, so it skips the XLT's extra chrome and convenience items but keeps the same sliding doors and low load floor. Its 2.5L I4 makes 169 horsepower and pairs with the eight-speed automatic and front-wheel drive, which returns 25 mpg combined. With two seats and 145.8 cubic feet of cargo space, this van is built for hauling, and the tall roof lets you stand up inside while loading.
