Miles Overview
The Mirage is Mitsubishi's entry-level hatchback, the most affordable new car in its class. It's slow and noisy on the highway, but around town the light steering and small footprint make it easy to park and maneuver. The cabin uses hard plastics and the seats are firm, but the cargo area is surprisingly roomy for such a small car. The ES adds air conditioning, a 7-inch touchscreen, and power windows over the base ES, while skipping the SE's alloy wheels and fog lights. Its 1.2L I3 makes 78 horsepower and 74 lb-ft of torque, which is enough for city errands but struggles on highway merges; the five-speed automatic is the only gearbox offered.
