Miles Overview
The S60 is Volvo's compact luxury sedan, the one you'd cross-shop with an Audi A4 or BMW 3 Series if you want something a little less common. It's a genuinely pleasant car to drive, with a smooth, quiet ride and a clean power curve that makes highway cruising relaxing. The suspension is on the soft side, so there's noticeable body roll in corners, but that's the trade for how comfortable it feels on rough roads. Inside, the cabin feels classy and roomy, with good legroom front and back, a spacious trunk, and seats that are famously comfortable. The Inscription Platinum is the luxury-focused S60, the one you pick over the sportier R-Design if you want the plushest interior and the most standard equipment. Its 2.0L I4 makes 240 horsepower and routes power through eight-speed automatic to all four wheels, which gives you confident traction in rain or snow without a big hit to fuel economy at 29 mpg combined.
