Miles Overview
The S90 is Volvo's full-size luxury sedan, the car you cross-shop with the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class. It's a calm, composed cruiser that eats up highway miles, with a ride that's tuned for comfort over sport. Inside, the cabin is a quiet, minimalist space with superb front seats and a clean, portrait-oriented touchscreen. The S90 is a sedan only, but the trunk is generous and rear legroom is limo-like for a car in this class. Stepping up from the B6 Momentum to the Inscription adds genuine wood inlays, a longer list of standard leather trim, and a cabin atmosphere that feels closer to a private lounge than a sedan. Its 2.0L I4 hybrid and mild hybrid system take the edge off stop-and-go traffic, and the eight-speed automatic slips through gears smoothly enough that you barely notice it working at highway speed. The Inscription is the only trim where you can order the optional massaging front seats, and they make the long commute genuinely more relaxing.
