2024 Volvo S90 B6 Ultimate

The S90 is Volvo's full-size luxury sedan, the one you'd cross-shop with a BMW 5 Series or Mercedes E-Class. It drives with a calm, composed confidence, and the steering is light but accurate enough for a big sedan. The ride is impressively smooth, soaking up bumps without fuss, though it's not as sporty as some rivals. Inside, the cabin is a quiet, minimalist space with excellent materials and plenty of room for four adults. The B6 Ultimate sets itself apart from the B6 Plus with upgraded leather upholstery, a Bowers & Wilkins audio system, and massaging front seats. Its 2.0L I4 hybrid pairs with an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive to produce 295 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque, and it returns 25 mpg combined. Only the Ultimate adds the adaptive air suspension, which keeps the ride pillow-soft over rough pavement.
