The 2022 Envision is Buick's compact crossover, slotting between the subcompact Encore GX and the three-row Enclave. It competes with the Acura RDX, Lincoln Corsair, and Lexus NX, offering a quieter, more relaxed take on the segment. The Envision accelerates smoothly and rides with the calm composure Buick is known for, though the steering is light and easygoing. Inside, the Envision offers a modern cabin with available leather, a large touchscreen, and comfortable seating for five. Heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a 360-degree camera distinguish the Avenir from the Essence below it. Its 2.0L I4 makes 230 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, routed through a nine-speed automatic to all-wheel drive, which returns 25 mpg combined.
