Miles Overview
The Envision is Buick's compact crossover, the one that goes up against the likes of the Audi Q5 and Lincoln MKC. It's a comfortable cruiser that handles daily driving with ease, and the ride stays composed over most surfaces. Inside, you get a quiet cabin with supportive seats and plenty of room for four adults, plus a decent cargo area. Standard tech includes a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus available driver aids like blind-spot monitoring. The Essence is the middle trim, so you get leather upholstery and a power liftgate, but you skip the Premium's upgraded engine and adaptive cruise control. This Essence has the 2.5L I4 making 197 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, which is enough for relaxed commuting but not quick off the line. It returns 24 mpg combined, which is about average for a compact crossover with all-wheel drive.
